The thing Jesus did is cast off the standard life and spent his life learning, about the life on earth, and the life that comes after we leave earth. He saw the life we struggle with here and just as clearly saw the life we are going to.
Jesus understood the trials we have here were for learning how not to be. With out the knowledge we gain here we would be unfit for a life of power. We would only miss use that power in a manor so destructive we would distort all we touch. If we shed all negative emotions while we are here we become like Christ.
Hate destroys people when they hold it in their heart. With out it life is good and peaceful. To forgive is divine. It gives you peace of mind. To forgive does not mean, you except. It means you understand.
When a person attacks you or hurts you, if you look you will understand their mistake. You will know what head space they are in and understand how they got there. You will understand what they did truly does hurt them more than it does you.
You can not correct their mistake, only see it. You can not make them see it, and you do not need to dwell on it yourself. You can forgive and go on to a pleasant head space of your own. Never dwell in the mistake of another. Recognize it and move away from it.
Jesus holds a martial arts Degree in emotion. When attacked he can deflect the emotional attack with out causing harm to anyone, nor let anyone damage his soul. SO, can anyone else who understands, who forgives the mistakes of others.
Christ did not die on a cross but it was a Near Death Experience. He understood the mind of those who hung him and forgave them. The mind of Christ has never left this earth and those who wait for his return are riding a dead horse.
Heaven is not far away. We can go there and return any time. Only the soul can travel faster than light. You can be anyplace you like with only a thought. Only the tie to the body prevents total immersion in the environments you go to. Learn to live in your spirit not the body.
The body is only a tool and death is only a door.
To know God, you must first know yourself. To know yourself is to know the mind of all people, including Christ. Knowing yourself makes
